1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Apna Recipe website and related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of the terms, please do not use the service.
These terms apply to all visitors and registered members. We may update them from time to time; continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms.
2. Your Account
- You must provide accurate information when registering and verify your email address to unlock community features.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. You can end sessions on other devices from your account page at any time.
- We may suspend or block accounts that violate these terms; suspended and blocked accounts are signed out everywhere and cannot sign in.
3. Your Content & Conduct
Apna Recipe is a community built on respect for cooking and the people who share it. When submitting recipes or writing reviews:
- Only submit content you have the right to share — your own recipes, photos and words.
- Respect the origins of dishes; give credit where family or regional traditions have been adapted.
- Harassment, discriminatory remarks or spam in reviews will result in removal and may result in account termination.
- Do not use the platform for unauthorised commercial solicitation.
By posting content you keep ownership of it, and grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce and distribute it within the platform (including in the newsletter and social previews).
A note on moderation
Every submitted recipe and review is checked by our editors before it appears publicly. We may edit for formatting or decline submissions that don't meet our guidelines — you can always revise and resubmit.
4. Memberships & Billing
- Paid memberships unlock premium recipes, the meal planner and an ad-free experience, as described on the plans page.
- Payments are processed securely by Razorpay; we never store your card details.
- Recurring plans renew at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Prices are shown before you subscribe.
- You can cancel anytime from your account page — you keep member access until the end of the period you've paid for. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
5. Intellectual Property
The platform and its original content (excluding member content), features and functionality are and remain the exclusive property of Apna Recipe.
Public recipes are for personal, non-commercial use. Our name, logo and design may not be used in connection with any product or service without prior written consent.
6. Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apna Recipe and its team shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages resulting from:
- Your use of, or inability to use, the service;
- Content submitted by other members;
- Culinary mishaps, allergies or health issues arising from preparing or consuming recipes found on the platform — you are responsible for your own food safety and allergen management.
